Lonie "L.J." J. Hearn

Lonie J. “LJ” Hearn, passed away Jan 29, 2011 in Pueblo, Colorado. LJ was born June 1, 1927 in Tulia, Texas to Horace and D. Eysel Hearn. Lonie was a member of the First Baptist Church, South Pueblo Lodge #31 AF&AM, Southern Colorado Consistory #3 and the Al Kaly Shrine where he served as Recorder for many years. LJ owned and operated the Dairy Deluxe in Bessemer for many years before his retirement and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly and his brother Clarence. His survivors include his son Scot (Theresa) Hearn; nephews, Bruce and Larry Hearn; and his great niece Cassie. A celebration of Lonie’s life will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Elmwood Golf Course Clubhouse, 3900 Thatcher Avenue.
