Gloria J. Ross passed away April 9, 2011 in Denver, Colorado. Gloria was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 5, 1951 and had lived in Pueblo since 2003. She was a member of the First A.M.E. Church in Pueblo and will be remembered for her infectious smile and her “Never Met a Stranger” attitude. Gloria met and married Galen Ross on July 19, 1977 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was a fantastic cook and loved to sing with the First A.M.E. Choir. She spent many years in Palm Springs, California, where she leaves a host of friends and relatives to mourn. She is also survived by her husband Galen Ross of Pueblo, children, Herman Jamel Burton, Bobby Jean, both of California and Crystal Young of Michigan, two brothers, Bobby Crawford and Anthony Crawford, both of Calif., as well as 14 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
