Floyd Albrecht died August 5, 2011 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was born in McCook, Nebraska on June 19, 1916 to Joseph and Minnie Albrecht, and moved to Pueblo at age 19 looking for a job to care for his parents during the depression. After finding work in the power plant at the CF&I Steel Mill, he moved his father, mother and youngest sister to Pueblo. He met the love of his life Aalaine and they married in 1938. After a couple years they bought lots and he and his father built their home using the soil from digging out the basement to make adobe blocks. Floyd and his wife enjoyed hunting and fishing and took many exciting and fun trips. They were also avid bowlers and bowled in many leagues. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, five sisters and several nieces and nephews. Floyd is survived by his wife of 73 years, Aalaine; daughter, Wanda (Jerry) Linville; grandson, Rod Linville, granddaughter, Christal (Douglas) Mueller; great granddaughter Elizabeth Mueller and several nieces and nephews.
