Richard “Dick” Viles passed away Aug 26, 2011 in Pueblo West, Colorado. He was born Apr 15, 1941 in Pueblo to Albert and Dorothy Viles. Dick was a Nascar fanatic and car enthusiast. He worked as a body and paint man for 50 years. He was always there to help anyone at any time and if you needed a laugh or a good racing story, you could always count on dad, brother, grandpa, uncle and friend to make you smile. He was a man of many talents and loves. His survivors include his one true love, Chris, his loving wife of 41 years; his son, Tom Viles and daughter, Julie (Todd) Grimes. Also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Brittney Viles, Kirsten (Ken) Cole, Rebecca Viles, Kyle Moore, Thomas Viles, Jr, Jessica Moore and Alex Viles. He also loved and is survived by his brothers Don (Cheryl) Viles, Lloyd (Terry) Viles, Larry Viles and Al (JoAnn) Viles as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his special hospice nurses Rebecca and Allan. At his request, cremation has taken place. A gathering in Dick’s memory will be held from Noon until 4 pm on Sunday, Aug 28, at the Grimes residence, 526 S. Clarion Drive in Pueblo West.
