Robert Lee Budd, 82, passed away Oct 7, 2011 in Pueblo. He was born to Joe and Rhoda (Williams) Budd in Sanford, CO. Bob was a Veteran having served in the Marine Corp beginning in 1946. His career was as a businessman owning and managing businesses in the mobile home industry, He also owned furniture stores including The Shed in Raton, NM and Fremont Furniture in Canon City. He retired in 1998 and moved to the Deer Mountain Community in 1999 where he enjoyed living in the mountains with the wildlife and feeding the birds. He served in the Deer Mountain Lions Club and enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader of Philosophy and the meaning of life, and considered himself of the Christian faith. His hobby was collecting and restoring antique furniture. Bob enjoyed music and preferred classical. At one time played and sang in a Country Band and had natural musical ability. He married Flora Heinig April 18, 1949 in California. They had 4 children Joe (Shirley), Sandra Gaines, Robert and Bonny (Henry) Wellenkotter. Bob had 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his companion of 25 years Edith Rayer and her children Bill Fahrenkrug, Mike (Jodi) Fahrenkrug and Kathy (Chris) Schwartz and 6 grand children and 5 great-grandchildren; also survived by a sister Peggy (Mike) Curto, a brother Bill (Karen) and many nieces and nephews. Bob was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Earl (Della), Roy (Norma) Harold (Jenny), son Robert, grand daughter Veronica, grandsons Robert Budd and Jason Wellenkotter.
