GLENN A. FILER passed away February 1, 2012 in Pueblo, Colorado. Glenn was born in Pueblo on September 30, 1929. After a brief teaching career he was drafted into the US Army where he served in the Counter Intelligence Corps. Upon his return to Pueblo, Glenn was a furniture salesman for American Furniture on Main and then Benfatti Furniture for a combined 50 years. He was a member of South Pueblo Lodge #31 AF & AM, Order of Eastern Star Pueblo Chapter #7, Amaranth and BPO Elks #90 in Pueblo. He was an accomplished singer and musician and shared those talents as a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Episcopal Church. He is survived by his siblings, Doris Lease, Jim (Mary) Filer and Ralph (Marilyn) Filer, all of Pueblo, as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, February 10, 2012 in St. Peter the Apostle Episcopal Church, 3939 Pueblo Blvd. Donations in memory of Glenn may be made to St. Peter the Apostle Episcopal Church.
