Helen D. Merrell

Helen D. Merrell passed away April 23, 2012 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born September 19, 1912 in Wyaconda, Missouri. Helen was a member of First Baptist Church where she helped make quilts for the homeless and she volunteered at the cooperative Care Center for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Ersel. Her survivors include her children Jean Lowrance, Shirley Ames, John Merrell and Janice Jones; 13 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. No viewing, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 27, 2012 in the First Baptist Church, 9th & Grand. Private interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pueblo Cooperative Care Center, 325 W. 10th Street, Pueblo, CO 81003.
