Mary "Jackie" Ramsey

Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" Ramsey, 71, Boone, CO went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2012 peacefully with her family at her side. Born May 19, 1941 in Denver, CO to Wilbur Warren and Dorothy Mae Earhart. Soon after moved to Boone, CO where she attended Boone High School and met the love of her life Jim Ramsey. They married February 14, 1957. Jackie spent her life raising her family and helping Jim on their farm and ranch. She volunteered at Parkview Hospital for 27 years and worked in the Dist. 70 Administration office as well as providing support to the Junior Achievement and Special Education programs. She was also an election judge for many years and most recently was an elected official for the FSA. She was well known for her wonderful cooking and enjoyed serving a large crowd. She collected arrowheads, depression glass, and original artwork. she also enjoyed sewing and crafts. Survived by her husband of 55 years, Jim Ramsey, Children Taren (Roger) Rutledge, Neil (Julie) Ramsey. Grandchildren Ryan (Cassy) Rutledge, Tyler and Rachael Ramsey. Great Grandson Max Rutledge, Siblings Judy (Jack) Rockwell, Warren (Judy) Earhart, Susie Earhart, Mike (Sue) Earhart, Jeff (Joannie) Earhart, Kelly Earhart, Greg Earhart, Mandy (Mark) Mullin, Virginia (Gus) Serracino, Velda Ramsey, Sam (Joann) Ramsey, Frank (Phyllis) Ramsey, Dianna (Ted) Massey, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and too many friends to count. Jackie was deeply devoted to her family and friends, she honored the uniqueness in everyone, always spoke words of encouragement, and always listened with care and compassion.
