Anna J. Snyder

Anna J. Snyder passed away August 2, 2012 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born February 8, 1914 in Walsenburg,Colorado to Anthony and Ann J. Blatnik and had lived in Pueblo since 1962. She was employed at the Southern Colorado Power Company as a customer clerk for many years. She was a Past Worthy Matron of Gold Nugget Chapter OES in Cripple Creek and a longtime member of Ascension Episcopal Church in Pueblo. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and fishing. Preceded in death by her husband Ernest Snyder; her children, Edward and Elizabeth; her siblings, Anthony, Louis and Henry Blatnik, Marion and Lillian Cline. She is survived by her son Dennis (Joanne), of Pueblo, her good friend Shirley Stupar and several nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Life Care Center, Nurses Station 1&2 for the loving care Anna received during her last six years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Ascension Episcopal Church, 420 W. 18th, with Rev. Vaughan McTernan officiating. Inurnment will be in the Victor Cemetery at a later date. The family respectfully requests the omission of food and flowers and asks that donations be made to the Ascension Episcopal Church.
