Jack William Snow passed away on Feb. 22, 2013 in Pueblo. He was born March 24, 1929 in Canon City, CO to Rosalia and Fred Snow. After graduation from Canon City High School in 1947, military service in the U.S. Army, 1947-50, and graduation from Tri-State University in 1955, Jack worked for CF&I for 30 years as a Mining Engineer and later Superintendent of the Allen Mine west of Trinidad. Jack enjoyed a vigorous outdoor life playing tennis, golf, gardening, and fishing. He volunteered at the Colorado Welcome Center in Trinidad, provided free income tax prep through VITA, served on the Las Animas County Economic Development Board and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Trinidad. Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his brother Roy of Pueblo and sister Evelyn of Canon City. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara; two sons, Robert (Jeanne) and Paul (Debra); four grandchildren (John, Michelle, Jackie, Brett); three great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Loretta Dow, Virginia Lewis; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. A memorial service will be held in the Methodist Church in Trinidad on Saturday, March 2nd at 10:30AM. A reception will follow at the church.
