Hal S. Hartman, 69, was called home on April 8, 2013. Hal was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado and graduated from Centennial High School in 1962 and CSU-Pueblo in 1968. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to his true calling, he worked for PepsiCO., State, Inc., Newberry State and ICM. In 1989, he was called to serve as Assistant Pastor at Broadway Christian Church and due to his selfless service, he was asked to be Head Pastor in 1993. Because of his sincere love for Jesus Christ, he influenced countless lives. He loved snow skiing, fishing, hiking, body boarding, bicycling and walking. Above all, were his love for the scriptures and making memories with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Reveille Hartman. Hal is survived by his wife and soul mate Sharon; children, Tawna Shae (Chad) Nagler; Shannon (Luther) Snow and Kent Hartman; his grandchildren, Kelcie, Michael and Nicholas Nagler, Taryn Thompson-Hartman and Addison and Alexandria Snow; his sister Pam Cowen as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Sangre de Cristo Hospice and their staff for their care of Hal. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Broadway Christian Church, 206 Broadway Ave. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery with Military Honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team.
