Veleta E. Wilson

Veleta E. Wilson, went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2014. She was born March 5, 1938 in Haswell, Colorado, one of 14 children to Roy and Ruth Larrew. Veleta was employed as an Office Manager for many Dr’s offices before her retirement. She enjoyed the outdoors including motorcycling riding and spending time at the cabin in the mountains. Veleta is survived by her husband David F. Wilson; sons, David R. Wilson and Thomas (Gail) Wilson; her 4 grandchildren, Jeremy, Michelle and Ashley Wilson and Jorden Nerone; several brothers and sisters as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family expresses hearfeilt thanks to Sangre de Cristo Hospice for the loving care they provided. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Davis Memorial Chapel with Rev Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating. Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com
