CMSgt Gary Lawson Sr, Retired, died Apr 29, 2015 in Pueblo, Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Kenna; sons, Gary Jr (Harry), Rob (JoAnna) and Rick (Lisa); daughter Vanessa; brother, Jim Lawson; grandchildren Thera, Kayla, Ashlee, Mack, Rickie, Delanee, Riley, Kennadee, Imriee and Rayli; four great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Gary was born in Cherryvale, Kansas on April 28, 1936 to Charlie Burton and Fern Lawson. He was predeceased by his parents and his wonderful step-mom, Faye, brothers Burt and Wayne and sister Yolanda. He joined the Army out of high school and later continued his service with the Air Force Reserves where he proudly served his country for 16 years, including a tour in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm/Desert Shield. Gary owned and operated Lawson Accounting Services in Westcliffe and Pueblo for many years. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His hobbies were camping, traveling and gardening. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 4, 2015 at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 2561 Vinewood Lane, Pueblo.
