James Tomlinson

James M. Tomlinson passed away May 3, 2015 surrounded by his family at his home in Pueblo West, Colorado. He was born February 20, 1937 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to L. Earl and Ruth Tomlinson. Jim was the owner and manager of Boone Bean and Elevator for many years before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Shannon Tomlinson, Jackie Williams and Joan Muench and his granddaughter Olivia Daugherty. His survivors include his wife of 53 years Carol; children, Laurie (Mike) Daugherty, Jamie (Michael) Gage, Jackie (John) Horton and Aaron (Julie) Tomlinson; grandchildren, Karli, Drew, Jilly, Alex, Ellie, Jarett, Nick, Gabrielle, Joel, Kristen, Michaela, Elijah and Josiah; great grandson Calland; his sister, Judy Tomlinson; special friend Floris (Robin) Fuchs and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be from 4 pm until 6 pm today at the mortuary. Graveside service will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, May 7, 2014 in the Imperial Memorial Gardens with a Celebration of Jim’s Life to follow at 11 am in the New Day Church, Pueblo West Campus, 694 E.
