Donald W. Jahn passed away March 2, 2009 in Pueblo. Donald was born Apr 13, 1947 to Fred and Myrtle Jahn and was a lifelong Pueblo resident. After graduating from East High School in 1965, Donald enlisted in the US Navy where he served his country during the Vietnam War. He was employed locally as an auto mechanic and worked as a maintenance man at apartment buildings for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard Jahn and his special nephew Tim Jahn. Donald is survived by his wife Virginia “Ginger” Jahn; daughter, April Jahn-Herr and granddaughter Hannah Herr; brothers, Fred (Beverly) Jahn III and Kenneth (Pat) Jahn as well as numerous nieces and nephews including Chuck Jahn, Gary Jahn, Jody Jahn and Sheila Jahn. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, Mar 6, 2009 in the Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church, 23 Starling Dr. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice.
