Phyllis A. Conklin

Phyllis A. Conklin passed away March 7, 2009 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Phyllis was born in Cunningham, Kansas on September 3, 1919 to Thomas and Zella Sitton and had lived in Pueblo since 1945. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church as well as the Order of Eastern Star. Phyllis was employed for many years in the Dental Office of Dr. Hunter in Pueblo. Mrs. Conklin was preceded in death by her husband Ernie in 2003. She is survived by her children, E. Mark (Anneliese) Conklin of Colorado Springs and Lana (Aaron Bellamy) Carlson of Carbondale; a brother, Stacey Sitton of Genoa; a sister, Zelpha Forbes of Limon; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 University Circle in Pueblo. Graveside services and interment will be held on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 10:00 AM in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Pratt, Kansas.
