Gladys Ashbrook

Gladys L. Ashbrook, passed away July 5, 2016 in Pueblo, Colorado. Gladys was born May 21, 1921 in Cortez, Colorado to Percy and Mary Veach. She was employed as a Sr. Psych Tech at the Colorado State Hospital for 18 years before her retirement in 1982. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 1985 and her son Gerald in 2006. Her survivors include her sons Walter J. “Jim” Ashbrook, Jr, and Dennis Ashbrook; grandchildren, Doug (Stacy) Ashbrook and Dana (Louie) Malagisi as well as 7 great grandchildren. At her request, cremation with no public services. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. James Stjernholm, the Life Care Center and to Sangre de Cristo Hospice for their loving care of Gladys.
