Raymond C. Pearl passed away December 2, 2009 in Pueblo. Ray was born in Pueblo on June 30, 1940 to William and Grace Pearl and was a 1958 graduate of Central High School. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. Ray was an active member of the B.P.O.E. #90 and served as Exalted Ruler in 1984-85, State President of the Elks in 1992-93, District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler in 1996-97 and had served as Secretary of #90 as well. He was also a member of Silver State Lodge #95 AF & AM, a Past Patron of Pueblo Chapter #7, Order of Eastern Star, Eagles Aerie #145 and American Legion Post #2 in Pueblo. Mr. Pearl was preceded in death by a daughter Dawn in 1983 and a grandson Jackson Lovings. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Anne, children; Deborah Vedovelli, Kimberly (Gary) Lovings, both of Ohio, Joan (Clayton) Briggs of Canon City, Cynthia (Michael) Stiller of Lakewood and Steven (Lori) Countway of Centennial, siblings; Winona Potter, Billy Pearl, Willard (Donna) Pearl, Ruth (Bob) Masgai, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation in the Davis Crematory. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the B.P.O. Elks Lodge, 5th and Santa Fe. Donations in memory of Ray may be made to Laradon Hall, a charity of the Elks, either direct or through the mortuary.
