Jerry F. Raio, 74, passed away Jan. 19, 2010 in Pueblo, Colorado. Jerry was born Oct. 16, 1935, in Huntington Station, New York. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, especially Italian cooking, and was extremely proud of his Italian heritage. Most of all, Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Anna Raio; and a sister, MaryAnn Schmidt. His survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Alicia; children, Christina (Mike) Lennon, Race (Sheri) Raio, Brian Raio, Terry Marck, Brenda (Albert) Marmolejo, Randy Marck and Brian (Becky) Marck; grandchildren, Drew Lennon, Kelsey, Abigail and Joely Raio, Jessica Hill, Casey and Brenton Marck, Lindsey Marmolejo, Ryan, Tiffani, David and Brianna Marck and Amanda Marck; brothers, Joe (Jeanne) Raio, Charles (Rose) Raio and Lou (Gloria) Raio; sisters, Ann Crawbuck, June Miszuk and Hope Soviero; four great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives. Visitation was held from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at Davis Mortuary, 128 Broadway. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Family Worship Center, 3800 Parker Blvd., with Pastor Dave Smith officiating. Interment followed at Imperial Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. In lieu of food and flowers, donations may be made to the Parkview Foundation in Jerry’s name.
