Gene B. Beagles

Gene B. Beagles died in Pueblo, Colorado on January 18, 2010. He was born in Cripple Creek, Colorado on December 31, 1942. He was a longtime Pueblo resident. Gene was a musician/drummer- played in clubs in Cripple Creek, Denver and Colorado Springs. Known as the “Roadrunner” to some, he was always on the move looking for new things, new music and life. He held tight to the fact that life was worth fighting hard for. He touched many and many touched him in his journey. He lived to the beat of a different drummer, music was his passion. Preceded in death by parents Eugene and Avis Beagles. Survived by his sister, Virginia Andrew, of Colorado Springs; cousins, Marlene Santilli, of Pueblo and Charlene Murphy, of Florida; nephew, Mitchell Andrew, of Denver and niece, Michelle Taylor, of Colorado Springs. Cremation has taken place. Services are being planned for late spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs.
