Sherri K. Machesky

Sherri K. Machesky passed away May 10, 2010 at home in Pueblo West. Sherri was born in Alamosa to David and Joy Shaw on July 15, 1964 and had lived in the Pueblo area since 1994. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping as well as drawing and craft work. She was employed as a cake decorator for many years. Her survivors include her husband Jim, of Pueblo West; daughter, Nikita (Michael) Lukow, of TX; father, David (Stella) Shaw, of Colorado Springs; brothers, Steven (Bobbi) Shaw, of Salida; Rex (Brandi) Shaw, of South Fork; sister, Dana Shaw, of Colorado Springs; step father Martin Heinsoth, of South Fork; her grandmother, Mary Crawford, of Fort Collins; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews including aunt Laura Nels Olsen, of Wellington. Sherri was a friend and mother to all and is survived by a host of friends. Public visitation will be held on Friday from 4 pm until 8 pm at the Davis Mortuary. Cremation will follow. Memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm on Monday, May 17, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 52 El Rio Drive, in Alamosa, Colorado. Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com.
