Gerald “Jerry” J. Minogue went to be with the Lord Sept. 10, 2010. He was born April 4, 1929 in Pueblo. Jerry was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He was employed for many years at the CF & I Steel Mill before retiring in the mid 1980’s. Jerry was a member of South Pueblo Lodge #31 AF & AM, Pueblo York Rite Bodies, Fidelity Chapter #144 Order of Eastern Star, Southern Colorado Scottish Rite Bodies and Al Kaly Shrine. He was preceded in death by his parents Jeremiah I. & Marie O. Minogue, son Jerry W. Minogue, daughter-in-law Elaine J. Reynolds, sister and brother-in-law, Clem & Margaret Scheulen. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 60 years Audrey M. Minogue; children, Kathy (Frank) Trujillo, Arthur Reynolds, Cheryl (Jack) Teel, and Debbie (Gene) Vaught; also survived by 17 grandchildren, 3 step grand-children, 21 great-grandchildren, 8 step great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Minogue will lie in state at the mortuary from 4 until 6 PM on Tuesday. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept 15, 2010 at 4:00 PM in the Davis Memorial Chapel.
