Josephine Ann Malcolm, 91, passed through Heaven’s Gate October 23, 2010. She was born May 3, 1919 in Chadron, Nebraska. She lived in Rye for over 35 years and taught in District 70 schools. She had a deep love for her family and the Greenhorn Mountains. She was a Christian woman and loved the Lord. Josephine was in death by her husband Stanley Malcolm and daughter-in-law, Rachel Malcolm. Her survivors include her children, Hugh (Jane) Malcolm, Alamogordo, NM, John Malcolm, Federal Way, WA, Sue (Terrence) Terrill, Pueblo West, CO and David (Debbie) Malcolm of Parker, CO. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Cremation at her request. Memorial services will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at Valley Community Church in Colorado City. Private interment will be in the Brookside Cemetery in Rye.
