Alfonso Kenneth Hecht born September 17th, 1936 in Stockett, Montana, passed on May 17th, 2023 at the age of 86 in Pueblo, Colorado. Known to his immediate family as Dad or Al, his brothers, sisters, and cousins as “Kenneth” lived a full life. Al served in the United States Army as a Forward Observer during the Korean conflict reaching the rank of 1st Lieutenant. After his Army Service Al joined the Colorado State Patrol where he worked for 43 years. In 1977 Al married the love of his life Diana (Bradburn) whom he shared 5 children with.
Al was preceded in death by his daughters; Lori Newsome and Krystle Hecht and his brothers; Raymond, Chuck, and Ed. Al is survived by his wife Diana; daughter, Lynae Bragg; sons, Jim Hecht and Michael (Courtney) Hecht; six grandchildren, Rylee Newsom, Taylor (Ray) DeTello, Jarret Bragg, Oakley Mariah and Ashlin Mraovich and a great grandson Enzo DeTello.
A ceremony to celebrate Al’s life was held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 1st, 2023 at Fellowship of the Rockies, 3892 W. Northern Avenue in Pueblo.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Davis Mortuary.
