Anita Rose Trigo

Our forever Valentine, our work of “ART”, Anita Rose Trigo passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2021 in Pueblo. She was born August 31, 1998 in Pueblo, Colorado to Jeremiah Trigo and Cynthia Johnson. Anita was a 2017 graduate of Centennial High School and attended Colorado State University-Pueblo working on her Nursing degree. Selena Quintanilla-Perez was Annie’s idol and had watched that movie over and over and over. She enjoyed cheerleading, scary movies and popcorn, participating in track, watching make-up tutorials, and canvas painting was a favorite past time also. Food was always welcomed and appreciated by her and it also served as a way to express love, forgiveness and understanding. She loved all animals but had an incredible bond with her cat “Woody”. Her niece Olivia and nephew Jeremiah were the apples in her eye. Anita is survived by her father Jeremiah Trigo; mother, Cynthia Johnson-Zander and step-dad Daniel Zander; her brothers, Jeremiah II (Marissa), Ryan and Kristian; step brothers, Jordan (Kelly), Derek (Anna); step sisters, Jenna (Kevyn), Marissa; her grandparents, Sylvia Hall, Donald Hall and Thomas and Kathleen Johnson; as well as her nieces Olivia Daizey, Joanna, Bethany, Sadie and nephews Jeremiah III, Elijah, Mason, Gavin, as well as her childhood best friend/sister Alyssa Price; brother from another mother & father Leland Romero and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends that love her unconditionally.

Visitation for Anita will be held from 1 pm until 4 pm on Monday, February 22 at the Davis Mortuary followed by cremation.
