Betty "Jeanne" Jones

Mrs. Betty “Jeanne” Jones, age 94, of Pueblo, passed away April 6, 2021 at her residence. She was born March 12, 1927  in Amarillo, Texas to Mary Chepa Shoskey. 

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Calvin Jones; daughter, Kathy Adcox; sister, Mary Rose Chubrilo; and cousin (brother) William “Billy” Getts. 

Jeanne was a homemaker who loved to bowl, garage sale, write poetry, watch soap operas, and spend  time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan, never missing a Colorado Rockies or Denver Broncos game, and also enjoyed watching her “guy” Patrick Mahomes.

Jeanne is survived by her son Richard (Cindy) Jones; granddaughters, Brittany (Marc Bregar) Jones and Courtney (Brody) Lockett; grandsons Robb (Barbi) Adcox and Jeff (Janet) Adcox; nieces, Nancy Hamilton and Patty Hansen; beloved great-grandchildren, Addison and Wyatt Lockett; and her favorite feline friend Keitzer. She will be greatly missed, and forever remain a cherished memory in the lives of her family and friends.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held Monday, April 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Davis Memorial Chapel, 128 Broadway Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado.
