Carmelita S. Kasic

Carmelita S. Kasic passed away Sept 21, 2018 in Pueblo, Colorado.  She was born on September 16, 1926 in Belington, West Virginia, one of fourteen children to Jasper and Leota Nazelrod.   Carmelita worked in Labor & Delivery at St. Mary Corwin as well as working in the cafeteria at Columbian Elementary School before her retirement.  Carmelita enjoyed playing bingo and treasured her special time with her granddaughter Sierra.    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert; her children, Joyce Bregrar, Gary Michael Kasic and Albert Kasic as well as 11 siblings.  Her survivors include sisters Linda Browning and Loretta Price; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  No viewing, cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Monday, October 1, 2018 in the Roselawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 1207 Pueblo Blvd Way, Pueblo, CO  81005.  Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com.
