Carol Wands

  Carol Louise Wands passed away November 4, 2017 in Pueblo, Colorado.  She was born October 28, 1942 in Pueblo to Russell and Dorothy Longgrear.  Carol graduated from Centennial High School in 1960, attended Western State College and graduated from Southern Colorado State College, now CSU-Pueblo.  She taught 2nd grade at Morton Elementary School before starting a family and becoming a homemaker.  Carol enjoyed reading and gardening but her passion was dogs and she was a longtime volunteer at P.A.W.S.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents.  Her survivors include her husband Robert; daughters, Kirby (Rod) Marquez and Cassandra Krupka; granddaughters, Kendell, Savanah, Conley, Madison and grandson, Peyton; her brothers, Russell (Patricia) Longgrear and Robert Longgrear as well as several nephews and other family and friends.
