Debbie Jean Valdez

Debbie Jean Valdez passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2024 in Pueblo, Colorado. Debbie was born on October 23, 1962 to Rupert and Rose Valdez. She took pride in raising her only son to be the best person he can be, seeing her grandchildren grow to be great and growing their families. Debbie loved B-B-Qing with family, friends or even by herself at any time of the day or night. Debbie enjoyed going for drives for no reason, listening to good music and collecting unicorns of all kinds. 

 Debbie worked hard most of her life but loved being an LPN. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone and everyone when she was able. 

 Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Rupert and Rose, her brothers, Martin and Chris Valdez and her sister Cathy Mondragon. Her survivors include her son, Robert (Misty) Trujillo; her grandchildren, Jasmine (Ben) Robinson, Autumn (Nathan) Trujillo and Darrien Trujillo; her great granddaughter, Dianna Robinson; her brothers, Lee (Phyllis) Diamond, Hubert (Elaine) Valdez, Ronnie (Jennie) Valdez, Tony Valdez and her sister Susan Mondragon. Also survived by her sister-in-law Gloria Valdez as well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. 

 Cremation has taken place. Anyone who would like to share memories, stories and laughs is invited to a Celebration of Debbie’s Life at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Lone Owl Pavilion at Lake Pueblo.
