Debra Rene Montoya

Debra R. Montoya passed away April 1, 2022 following a lengthy illness.  Debbie was born April 11, 1959 in Pueblo to Charles and Patricia Hart. Auntie Debbie, as she was affectionately known, loved her family.  She also loved her pets and sharing her farm life with all of her family.   

Debbie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Estel and Katie Mae Stockton and Earl and Catherine Hart; father, Charles; father-in-law, John Paul Montoya and brother-in-law, David Michael Montoya.  Her survivors include her husband of nearly 45 years, John J. Montoya; her mother Patricia; brothers, Keith (Kelly), Kevin (Vicky) and Kerry (Karen) Hart; her mother-in-law, Florence Chambers; sisters-in-law, Lucille (Tony) Bueno, Dorothy (Mel) Ward and Geraldine (Stewart) Laramore; nieces and nephews, Connie, Hannah, Lindsey, Brandon (Valerie) , Ryan, Sara (Reynolds), Travis, Kurtis (Kelsey), Kody, Shonelle, Denise, Alan (Dana), Valerie (Bobby), Robert (Shay) and Eli (Natasha) as well as several great nieces, nephews and other relatives.  

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Debbie’s Life will be held in August.
