Doris Johanna Miller, of Pueblo West, CO, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 12, 2025, at home with her youngest son (Paul) holding her hand. Doris was born in South Bend, Indiana on October 26, 1932, the daughter of the late Ella Edith (Ping) Albert and Joseph C. Pierpont.
Doris enjoyed working as a CNA for the mentally disabled in Pueblo, CO. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #145 in Pueblo, CO and a lifetime member of VFW Post 5812 in Pueblo West, CO. She loved to travel to the mountains and in the winters to Arizona. She enjoyed antiquing and dancing at the Eagles with her recently departed husband.
Surviving are her children Diana, Ralph, Bruce, Brenda and Paul. Also surviving are five grandsons and six granddaughters, 10 great grandsons and 13 great granddaughters, one great-great grandson and two great-great granddaughters, with two great granddaughters coming in May and August 2025, in addition to two great-great grand twins (boy and girl) in August 2025. Preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Miller, daughter Jodi and grandson Robby.
There will be a private service where we will lay her to rest beside her beloved husband Raymond at Fort Logan National Cemetery, where love and memories will forever endure.
