Dorvin Carroll Cornelison passed away peacefully at home on November 21, 2017 with his loving family by his side. He was born August 25, 1941 in Pueblo. Dorvin was a veteran of the US Army and worked at Midwest Steel and Iron for 20 years before retiring from the Trane Corporation after 18 years. Dorvin was an avid golfer and softball player and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents Matt and Viola Cornelison; brothers, Onel (Lonna) Cornelison and Lavern (Roberta) Cornelison and his sister, Joy (Robert) Haun. His survivors include his loving wife Gladys; daughters, Linda (Gerold) Abeyta and Colleen (Dave) Lucero; grandchildren Lawrence and Dynelle (Eric), Kayla (Brandon), Isaac, Julio and Raina; great grandson Travis; his brother, Delvin (JoAnne) Cornelison; special brother-in-law, Chuck (Loretta) Mills; nieces, Sherry and Terry (Lenny) Sandoval, Jody, Jerra (Bob) Harr and Gina (Joe) Pantleo; nephews, Ricky, Bryan (Beth), Allen, as well as special nephews, Wade (Terri) Mills and Chuck (Terri) Mills. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 11:30 on Tuesday, Nov 28, 2017 in the Davis Memorial Chapel with Military Honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team.
