Edward Joe Nelms

Edward J. Nelms passed away March 10, 2020 in Pueblo, Colorado.  He was born on December 5, 1929 in Brewer, Arkansas to John and Mary Nelms.  Ed was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War.  He enjoyed traveling and loved construction work but he most enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.   

Mr. Nelms was preceded in death by his parents and sons Jamie and Edward, Jr.   Edward is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret; his children William "Bill" (Erika) Nelms, Ben (Debbie) Nelms and Mary Nelms; his grandchildren, Erik, Megan and Matthew Nelms; two sisters, Faye and Betty. 

Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, March 16, 2020 in the Davis Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Imperial Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team.
