Fredrick C. Sievert, Jr. passed away on October 23, 2023 in Pueblo, Colorado.  He was born on October 20, 1935 in Salida, Colorado to Cliff and Lillian Sievert.  He is survived by his wife Madeline Sievert, daughter Dawn Singleton, son Bob Sievert, grandchildren Tiffany Naillon, Rebecca “Becca” Bersagel, Marcel Singleton, Matthew Sievert, Andrew Sievert, Kym Nuckols, Shannon Flint and great-grandchildren Kloey, Lillian, Abigail and Perrin.

Fred had an amazing life, with a work life that spanned many different professions from a door-to-door salesman of Grolier Encyclopedias, to serving 4 years in the Air Force, to working for multiple Aerospace companies where he was part of the Saturn S-II Apollo space program, to Vice President position in construction and finally to owning Sievert Guns, “largest gun store in the Western states”.

His social life and hobbies similarly spanned many things including motorcycles, building and racing cars, boating, camping, hunting, fishing and politics.  He was very involved in clubs and associations his whole life including multiple car clubs, Pueblo County Police volunteers, American Legion, VFW and was a life member of the Elks (Lodge 90).

Fred was passionate about people, never meeting a stranger.  When you met him you quickly felt that you had known him for years.  He was one who could walk into any group of people and immediately become friends with everyone.

He was truly a role model for his family, as a husband, father and grandfather.  While he will be missed, he will be remembered by all with smiles and great stories to be shared.
