Geneva Ruth “Jenny” Valdez, 70, of Pueblo, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
It is with profound sadness that we must share the passing of Jenny, she was a beloved dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother and astonishing wife of 55 beautiful years to her husband. She was also a loving caring sister and aunt to all of her brothers and sister, nieces, nephews. A strong independent woman to all who knew her. An angel in disguise, one who welcomed everyone even those who appeared on her doorstep. She was a gentle soul filled with love and nourishment to give to all who came in contact with her. She existed as the light of all lights and the one who could make any place or person feel at home. Jenny accomplished so much, traveled and made sure everyone was always fed. No one would ever go hungry. She always said that she would walk with Jesus and she did during Holy Week!.
Jenny was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Aragon; father, Charlie Aragon; sister, Irene Aragon and many more aunts, uncles and extended family.
ON behalf of her husband, Ron and the Valdez family, we would like to invite you to join us for Geneva “Jenny’s” Mass at 11:30 AM on Saturday May 3rd at St. Francis Xavier Church, 611 Logan Ave in Pueblo. A reception will follow. WWJD
