James Friend

James John Friend 1954- 2019 Jim Friend, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 11, 2019. He leaves his daughter Angela; granddaughter Sofia; two sisters, a brother and other relatives and many friends. Born and raised in Pueblo, Co, Jim is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred Friend. Jim graduated from East High School in 1973 and began working in the Tube & Rail Mill at the CFI at age 18 until his retirement in his early 60's. Throughout his life Jim enjoyed being in the Colorado Rockies fishing, hunting, bike riding and enjoying nature. Jim’s love for art was expressed through his drawings, paintings, multi-media exploration and photography. He shared these hobbies and his passion for art with his daughter, creating a lifetime of memories. Jim kept his art alive through drawing and painting, well into his retirement. Jim was a wonderful father, grandfather and loyal friend. He is greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
