Jerry Joseph Toth slipped the surly bonds of earth and went to spend eternity in Heaven on Sept. 1, 2017 where he joins his Mom, Jeanne Toth. He was born July 15, 1948 in Pueblo to Jeanie and Joseph A. Toth. Jerry will be missed by his loving wife, Sandra Toth, his Dad Joe Toth, sons, Paul (Laura) Toth, Jay (Patty) Toth all of Pueblo, stepchildren Tom (Kristy) McGuire, Jay (Jo Jo) McGuire, Jared (Jennifer) McGuire, Tonda (Gene) Tucker, also sisters Nancy Toth of Pueblo and Catherine (Bruce) Smith of Las Vegas, NV, 15 grandkids and one great grandchild between as well as numerous nephews and nieces. He leaves a void in all our lives and in the lives of those he touched. After graduation from High School, Jerry joined the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He went on to work for the Union Pacific Railroad and retired after 43 years of service. Jerry was a faithful and active member of the Antioch Baptist Church and loved his church family. He was a very talented and skilled carpenter and many of us were recipients of those talents which are now cherished, priceless memories. Jerry was always willing to help anyone with anything, he never turned any of us down when we needed something built or fixed! He had a heart that was bigger than he was. This came about because he loved the Lord. Mr. Toth will lie in state at the Mortuary from 3 until 6 PM on Monday. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 in the Antioch Baptist Church, 3220 W. Pueblo Blvd., at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery with Military Honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com.
