Kathleen Hansen Walker

Kathleen “Kathee” Hansen Walker (CeCe to her friends) passed away on August 11, 2024, surrounded by family. Kathee was born on April 12, 1960, in Seattle, Washington. She spent her years growing up in Washington State: Spokane, Tri-Cities, and the Lacey area. Kathee most recently resided in Lamar, Colorado, where she moved to be near her children and granddaughter. Kathee was a beautiful, generous soul with a huge heart. She loved her family and her friends dearly, as well as her many pets, especially her dog Hustler. She had many fond memories from her youth of spending time at the family cabin on Sacheen Lake near Spokane, Washington. During the summer she enjoyed swimming, water-skiing, and family time, and during the winter ice skating on the lake and inner tubing down “the” big hill. Despite having health challenges, Kathee was always busy and enjoyed being helpful to others. She had an unmistakable contagious laugh and beautiful handwriting. She loved music, puzzles, making improvements to her "little house" and was an avid New Orleans Saints fan. 

She is survived by her mother Patricia Hansen, brother David Hansen, sister Lisa Hansen, daughter Kelly Bottoms, son Christopher Townsend, and granddaughter Kenzilynn Laird.

Kathee (CeCe) was so very loved and will be truly missed.
