Mark Charles Reeves

Mark Charles Reeves went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 13, 2021. Mark was born on April 17, 1950 in Raton, New Mexico to Robert and Mary Margaret Reeves. He and Kathy were married and raised their family together in Rye, Colorado.  He owned and operated Reeves Drilling and Pump service, worked as a Pueblo Police officer, was a very proud Game Warden/Wildlife Officer for the Colorado Division of Wildlife, a Sergeant with the Custer County Sheriff’s Department and was a pilot who loved flying his plane, but above all, Mark was a cattle rancher that dearly loved his very spoiled cows.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Robert Reeves and mother Mary Margaret, his in-laws Walter T. and Mildred Marie Pope, Pat Sloan Pope, Dan Pope, Linda & Ruperto) Trujillo and David Pope.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kathleen, his children: Brent (Becky) Reeves, Erin (Nate) Rehlander, Jonathan Wade (Margo) Wills, Randy (Deb) Wills, Tabatha (Jim) Hartman, Nick Viola Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Robert (Annabelle) Reeves, Donald “Donnie” (Carolyn) Reeves, Joann (Ralph) Day, Frank Clementi, Joyce Pope, Bill (Laura) Pope, Richard (Joyce) Pope, Constance Freeman (Fred Murr), Robert “Percy” (Dorothy) Pope, Charles (Kelly) Pope and Walter “Shane” (Yvette) Pope. 

Celebration of Life will be May 22, 2021 at the River of Life Church, 8186 Hwy 165, Rye, CO at 1pm.
