Pansy Lue Mayber passed away June 9, 2021 at home in Pueblo West, Colorado. Pansy was born July 11, 1931 in Rolla, Kansas, one of four children to Delancy and Frances Wilson. She was a graduate from Central High School. Pansy and Claude were married in 1950. She worked as a meat wrapper at Safeway for many years before her retirement. She was a loving mother ,grandmother and great grandmother who loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandkids. Pansy enjoyed drinking her Pepsi , making crafts, completing crossword puzzles, watching movies and cooking in the kitchen with her grandkids. She enjoyed listening to music. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude Mayber, her brother, Bill Wilson; her sisters, Marie (Ray) Horvat and Betty (Robert) Smith. Her survivors include her children Guy Mayber (Genevieve) and Becky (Brian) Gray; 5 grandchildren, Mikiele, Lexi, Kendra (Jake), Mitchell, and Blake; 2 great grandchildren, Emyline and Briceton as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Special thanks to her nurse practitioner Linda Jackson and all office staff at Heritage Internal Medicine and to Sangre de Cristo Hospice for the amazing care they delivered to Pansy. Cremation has taken place. Mrs. Mayber will be laid to rest next to her husband Claude at the Imperial Cemetery. Per Pansy’s request no services to be held. Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com
