Phyllis Lassiter

Phyllis N. Lassiter went home to be with Jesus on April 15, 2018.  Phyllis was born Sept 23, 1939 in Denver, CO to Ruth and Edward Huffert.  Phyllis and her husband Jack lived an adventurous life all over the United States with Jack as a journeyman union electrician and then electrical superintendent and Phyllis as a teacher. Phyllis was preceded in death by Jack in 2013 and daughter-in-law Karen in 2010.  She is survived by her children, Kyle (Mandy Muskrat) Lassiter, Teri (Craig) Shepard and adored grandson William Ngabo; grandchildren, Brian (Shelby)and Dani and beloved nieces, nephews and other family.  Phyllis loved Jesus, family (both blood and chosen) and children all over the world.  Phyllis' family is grateful to her caregivers: Sherrill, Vicky,  Martha, Kathy and Steven for the love and care they gave her.  A memorial service was held at 11 am on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Park Hill Christian Church, 1401 E. 7th St. in Pueblo.  Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com.
