Robert Steven Burns

Robert Steven Burns passed away peacefully at home in Pueblo West, Colorado on December 23, 2022 following a lengthy illness.   Bob was born on April 2, 1945 in Newark, New Jersey, the only child to Lentho and Ruth Burns. 

Bob owned and operated his own business, Industrial Brake Company, for more than 30 years before retiring in 2008 and moving to Colorado.  He enjoyed boating and fishing in both New Jersey and Colorado, listening to music of all kinds, particularly Oldies and had a passion for antique cars.   Bob loved spending quality time with his family, especially with his granddaughter.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his first born daughter.  His survivors include his wife Susan, of 54 years; his son, David (Amber); his daughter, Danielle and his granddaughter Vivienne.

Cremation has taken place.   Service will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 1132 W. Oro Grande Drive, Pueblo West, Colorado on Wednesday, January 4, 2022.   Rosary will begin at 10:30 AM followed by Mass at 11:00 AM.
