Roger “Bud” Caffey passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 12, 2024, in Pueblo, CO. He was born in Shelbyville, TN, on July 2, 1961, and lived in the Denver metro area most of his adult life.
Roger was a hard, earnest worker, an avid reader, and had great talent in drawing, painting, and photography. His artwork and nature photos adorn many a wall in the home he shared with his wife, Helen. He also dabbled in classical guitar—there were many summer evenings where he would play in the covered breezeway—much to the delight of his wife.
Roger also had a great sense of humor and a wry wit.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Helen; his sister, Vicki; and his niece and nephew, Mallory and Spencer. Roger loved cats, and his seven kitties (six indoor and one outdoor) very much miss their daddy.
At Roger’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at 1:00 pm on August 6, 2024, at Davis Mortuary with a larger memorial/celebration of life planned for later in the fall.
He will be greatly missed.
