Stephanie Denise Jackson Reyes

Stephanie Denise Jackson Reyes died on April 28th, 2020 in Pueblo, CO in a tragic accident. Stephanie was born with a bright smile and an adventurous spirit. She was a talented artist and had a deep appreciation for beauty, music, and art of all kinds. She also had a natural gift for language and easily learned fluent Spanish. Fierce and authentic describe both the way that she lived her life, as well as how she loved her family and friends. In death, as in life, those who love her will remember that it doesn’t matter if we’re separated from her by distance, there will always be the same sky to unite us with her, or as the Spanish proverb says, "“No importa que nos separe la distancia, siempre habrá un mismo cielo que nos una.” She is preceded in death by her son, Manuel Viveros and her sister on her mother's side, Heather Gerkens. She is survived in death by her husband, Anthony Reyes of Pueblo, CO; three beautiful children; Her mother, Pamela Schejbal; Her father and step mother, Robert and Linda Jackson; Her siblings on her mother's side, Christopher Barnard, Elizabeth (Tom) Matlock, Debra (Drew) Crawford, Nicole Gerkens and Willy Schejbal as well as five siblings and three step siblings on her father's side. She is loved and will be missed by her large extended family. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
