Steven D. McWilliams

Steven D. McWilliams passed over to Heaven to rejoin his wife, Carolyn on Monday, Jan 7, 2019.  He was born in Del Norte, CO on Dec 27, 1941.  Steven was active in the Sargent and Center areas with farming life, football, basketball and much mischief making.  He and Carolyn married April 20, 1963, shortly after joining the US Navy and starting his 20 year career.  Following the Navy, Steven worked in hardware and spent the remainder of his work life with City Lift, City Cab and Rezenberger as a driver. 

Steven was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Ellen McWilliams, of Center.  He is survived by his brother, Jerry McWilliams (Mary); sister Sue  Vories (Greg); his children, Richard McWilliams (Tonya), Jeanette McWilliams Dickinson (Ben), Rebecca McMurtree (Floyd) and Barbara Hecker; 5 nieces and nephews, Sandy, Peggy, Tawnya, Brent and Laura, as well as 8 grandchildren, Kyle, Megan, Tyler, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Jack, Steven and Giselle. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan 10 from 1 until 6 pm at the Davis Mortuary.  Funeral will be held on Friday, Jan 11, 2019 at 2 pm in the Davis Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Imperial Memorial Gardens with military honors by the US Navy Honor Guard.
